The Black Sea is a sea links two continents and connects with the Mediterranean Sea on South through the straits Bosphorus and Dardanelles. The water is very low-salted – only 18 ‰ and with moderate temperature of 22-24°С in the summer, which makes it very congenial for bathing. The tides of the Black sea are insignificant. There are no dangerous water streams or animal and plant species, which can be of serious threat for the health and life of the tourists.
The special climate features of this area come from its location between the overheated Mediterranean resorts on South and the cool resort on North as it combines their best characterizations. The moderate annual temperature is around 12°С. The average temperature in July is around 22-23°С, but the sea breeze calls sensation of freshness even in the hottest summer days. The season with air temperature over 18°С continues around 100-110 days in the North and 120 days in the South part of the Black sea. The water temperature is over 18°С in continuation of 130-140 days (from the end of May to the end of October).
